UnionStahl produced autogenous flame-cut parts made of 450HB for an innovative plant engineering project – ideal for use in heavily loaded components of a recycling plant. Here, the blanks are fixed on a rotating shaft and take on the function of hammers that mechanically shred the recycling material.
Our stock includes a wide range of wear-resistant steels with hardness grades from 400 to 500 HB and thicknesses from 6 to 150 mm – available immediately and tailored precisely to your requirements.
The components for this project were autogenously manufactured in the in-house firing plant, in material thicknesses of 50 mm and 80 mm – ideal for thick-walled, resilient components. The cut parts were then carefully plastered and passed on ready for installation.
