Our laser cutting systems not only enable precise cuts to be made in Steel grades of different thicknesses. We can also process exceptionally large sheets with dimensions of up to 3,980 x 17,990 mm. This versatility allows us to respond flexibly to the requirements of different Steel grades and offer customized solutions. Depending on the application requirements, we use different technologies for laser cutting. Our CO2 lasers offer a reliable standard. However, we are increasingly using fiber laser technology because it offers very high reliability and perfect efficiency in production.
The operating principle is based on the use of a gas mixture which is excited by electrical power. During the cutting process, the generated laser beam is directed to the cutting head via various deflecting mirrors.
Fiber lasers are solid-state lasers and generate light through a laser-active core surrounded by a cladding. A pump light is generated via diodes and excited accordingly in the fiber. By using this technology, you benefit from high accuracy and increased efficiency thanks to maximum production speed. The highlight: low maintenance costs result in a very attractive price/performance ratio combined with a positive environmental and energy balance.
We manufacture to industry standard DIN EN ISO 9013-331, tighter tolerances are possible on request.
