The steel grades we supply for pressure vessel and boiler construction comply with international standards and regulations. We stock unalloyed, alloyed and heat-resistant pressure vessel steel grades in accordance with DIN EN 10028-2 and normalized weldable fine-grained structural steel grades in accordance with DIN EN 10028-3. Our range also includes the renowned Dillinal P460/630 and P440NJ4 brand steel grades from Dillinger Hüttenwerke. These steel grades are suitable for the construction of containers and tanks such as tank trucks and tank containers, as well as for the transportation of gas, including LNG. The sheets are characterized by increased strength and are part of our full range available at any time.
Another unique selling point in our competitive environment are the steel grades P690QL2, P690QL1 and P690QH in accordance with EN 10028-6. These high-strength quenched and tempered fine-grain structural steel grades in accordance with VdTÜV Steel grades sheet 257 have proven themselves in hot tensile tests at 300 °C.
We store sheet metal for pressure vessel and boiler construction in as many dimensions as possible in order to be able to optimally meet the needs of our customers. Widths of up to 4,000 mm and lengths of up to 16,000 mm – these unusual sizes are not uncommon for us. By stocking intermediate thicknesses, we make it possible to reduce the weight of the containers.
