Steel grades produced for shipbuilding must be able to withstand high and variable loads such as temperature fluctuations. In addition, shipbuilding steel is easy to weld, has high elongation values and is resistant to brittle fracture.
Shipbuilding steel is divided into grades and approved by international classification societies. We stock normal-strength and higher-strength shipbuilding Steel grades in grades: A, D, E, D36, E36, F36 and E40.
