Cutting

At UnionStahl, we use precise flame-cutting processes such as oxyfuel, plasma and laser cutting, depending on the source Steel grades, application area, dimensions and your individual requirements. Our modern systems enable the production of flame-cut parts up to a Steel grades thickness of 600 mm. Regardless of whether it is series production or one-off production, we guarantee you efficient production and optimum Steel grades utilization. You can rely on our expertise for customized solutions of the highest quality.

Oxyfuel flame cutting

Oxy-fuel cutting is one of the most economical processes for Hot rolled Sheets with thick walls. Our core competence lies in the precise cutting of thick and heavy Steel grades on CNC-controlled oxyfuel cutting systems.

Plasma cutting

For medium sheet thicknesses, plasma cutting offers an efficient solution with excellent cutting quality and high speed. Our swivel cutting heads enable the precise preparation of weld seams (chamfers) at the same time as the cutting process – all in a single production step.

Drawing formats

In order to be able to guarantee dimensionally accurate production, we require a drawing (.dxf, .dwg) and/or a 3D model (preferably .step). In addition, the following common file formats can be processed: .iges, .prt, .ipt, .sldprt etc.
