Longitudinally welded pipes made of heavy plate for line pipe and structural tubing in accordance with ISO 3183 are used in a wide variety of applications. They are mainly used in the oil, gas, chemical and construction industries. The manufactured pipes are installed in refineries, desalination plants and gas purification plants or used as line pipes for transporting media. The pipes have to withstand the most diverse and difficult conditions. These include, for example, arctic temperatures or high pressure in the deep sea to make longer transportation routes for oil and gas possible.
In addition, line and construction pipes are used to fulfill static and decorative functions in the construction of bridges, stadiums or buildings.
The pipe grades are produced in the delivery states normalized, thermomechanically rolled or tempered.
We stock Linepipe steel grades in the delivery states normalized (L245 NE/API 5L Gr.B, L360 NE/API 5L X52) and thermomechanically rolled (L415 ME/API 5L X60, L450 ME/API 5L X65, L485 ME/API 5L X70). The linepipe steel grades we stock meet the requirements of PSL 1 and PSL 2.
