Tube and ball mills are used in numerous industrial sectors – for example in the processing of raw materials, minerals or other materials subject to high stresses. The components used here have to withstand high temperatures, heavy wear and constant mechanical stress.
For applications in industrial grinding plants, UnionStahl manufactures spreader internals made of wear-resistant heavy plate. The assemblies consist, among other things, of drying chamber walls and individual lifting blades, which are manufactured at the Duisburg site in the pre-processing department.
The components used in the grinders perform important tasks in guiding the material and the air flow. At the same time, the components are subject to high thermal and mechanical loads.
Wear-resistant materials, precisely manufactured flame-cut parts and precisely fitting welded assemblies are therefore crucial for reliable system operation. Depending on the application, different material thicknesses and wear-resistant materials are used, which are specially designed for high loads and long service lives.
UnionStahl manufactures and processes the required components from heavy plate. The spreader internals are made from precisely manufactured flame-cut parts and then further processed, drilled, edged and welded.
The combination of high material availability, modern machining and many years of experience in working with wear-resistant materials results in resilient and precisely fitting wear-resistant welded assemblies for industrial grinding plants.
UnionStahl supports applications in industrial plant construction with the production of wear-resistant scattering inserts. The combination of heavy plate expertise, precise machining and extensive processing results in tailor-made solutions for demanding industrial applications.
From flame-cut parts to mechanical processing and wear-resistant welded assemblies, UnionStahl offers reliable solutions from a single source.
