UnionStahl GmbH held a sales conference at its Duisburg site last Friday. The event offered in-depth insights into the current market situation, a review of the year 2025 and a clear outlook on the goals for 2026. A particular focus was on the topic of careers and training at UnionStahl Duisburg, as well as employee development in our company.
UnionStahl has been consistently investing in the expansion of its team for years – both through experienced specialists and its own junior staff.
We are currently training 26 apprentices in various technical and commercial professions. This makes UnionStahl one of the companies in Duisburg that actively promotes training and offers young people long-term prospects.

A large part of the sales conference was dedicated to the current challenges of the steel market, such as CBAM, changes in demand and global framework conditions. The day ended with our Christmas party. In a relaxed atmosphere, all employees were able to end the year together and strengthen team spirit – a central component of our corporate culture.
